he Delphi Green Team has been providing our customers with environmentally conservative engineering designs and services since 1987. We have worked with many commercial developers in the Austin area and are proud of the repeat business they have brought to us. Some of these developers include:

  • Catellus
  • Endeavor
  • Novare Group
  • Legacy Partners
  • Maxum Development
  • CWS Capital Partners

We are proud to have coordinated the certification process for the first LEED™ and Austin Energy 4-Star rated building in Central Texas, the IBM Tivoli Headquarters Building, which was completed in 2002. Since that time, we have worked diligently with developers, building owners, Austin Energy, the City of Austin, and the US Green Building Commission to deliver over 200 green building and LEED™ projects in Central Texas. A few are highlighted below.

Seton Hospital Administration Building

Our most recently completed LEED™ project, the Seton Hospital Administration Building, is located in the Mueller re-development project, 1345 Philomena St., just south of Seton's Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas. The four-story building was developed and is owned and managed by Catellus Development Group. The project was all new construction and was delivered on time and on budget. The building, which features many unique environmentally friendly elements, is LEED™ Gold certified from the U.S. Green Building Council and obtained an Austin Energy 4 Star rating.

The Delphi Green Team provided Green Building and LEED™ commissioning for this project.

CitiFinancial LEED™ Retail Pilot Project

Citi Corp Press Release, May 29, 2008

"As part of its commitment to address global climate change, Citi announced that it is the first company to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) pre-certification for a retail commercial interior prototype through a pilot U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) program.

New CitiFinancial branches in Austin, Texas, and Flint, Michigan, and the Citibank financial center in Warrington, Penn., are the first Citi branches to be certified in this pilot program. An additional 27 CitiFinancial and Citibank branches were designed with the same features and are in the process of pursuing LEED certification.

The USGBC Portfolio Program, currently in pilot phase, focuses on the permanent integration of green building and operational measures – portfolio-wide – into the standard business practices of companies and organizations. The Portfolio Program recognizes market leaders who have committed to and achieved high levels of LEED certification within their portfolio."

Austin 360 Condominiums

The Austin 360 Condominium building was designed with the environment in mind. A high-efficiency Austin Energy District chilled water system provides air conditioning to the building, while programmable thermostats reduce energy costs for residents and save electricity. The Energy Star roof prevents heat build-up, while air quality control and fresh air intakes were part of the overall green design.

The Delphi Green Team provided Green Building commissioning for this Austin Energy 1-Star rated project.

The Austonian Condominiums

The Austonian Condominiums is currently under construction and, at 56 stories and 188 units, holds the title of "Tallest residential building in Texas". The topping off for the 683 foot building was held in Sept 2009, and marked the 2 year anniversary of the start of construction. The Austonian is being described as the epitome of higher living, and the project is planned to achieve an Austin Energy 4-Star rating, which is very similar to LEED™ Gold. The Delphi Groupe is proud to have been selected to provide Green Building Commissioning for this monumental project.
